We have created a beautiful space for young learners. Our place is one where children are invited to create, explore, play, learn and discover. We aim to develop children’s curiosity through engaging with them in an enriching environment which stimulates and challenges them and supports them to play with ideas, hypothesise and solve problems.
Our early learning centre is a community space where families, children and educators connect with each other, the environment, the school and wider community. Collaborating in this way helps us to work in meaningful ways to present authentic learning experiences to the young children.
Children attending the early learning centre have opportunities to engage in hands-on experiences which promote thinking and problem solving. Educators scaffold and guide children through these learning experiences and intentionally provide challenges so children develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes to a range of topics.
We value risk-taking. We create a safe and supportive environment where children can undertake risky play which develops their confidence, ability to assess danger and how to regulate their body and behaviour in various situations.
The team of teachers working in the Early Learning Centre are qualified and experienced to provide a preschool program which allows the children to grow and develop as individuals. Children will have opportunities to work by themselves, in small groups and as part of the whole school community.
Our environment is welcoming and fun. Children have the time to enjoy learning and share laughter and fun times with their friends and teachers.
