The end of the school year is fast approaching and that means Christmas and the time we celebrate the birth of Jesus is too! For that reason, the advent season has arrived early for us here at Googong!
This week marked our second week of advent which is where we heard about Mary and Joseph making their way to Bethlehem. This was a difficult journey for Mary over what was a very rough and dry region, with the help of a donkey when she could walk no more.
Our students are busy making their Christmas stars in preparation for our Christmas tree in few weeks. We are beginning to get excited about this and look forward to presenting our stars to our parents on the last day of school in December.
